Client Testimonials
“We know that there are young people in our schools who suffer with many different disorders such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. The work you have done in our union has been a blessing to many students, parents, and teachers.”
~Linda Fuchs & Ruth Horton, Lake Union Education Directors
“We have faces and continue to face some tough situations with certain students this year, and having access to Mindy Salyers and the resources she provides has been a blessing to us and something we will continue to use.”
~Will Reed, Principal
Thank you so much for all of your words and thanks for listening. You helped me grow so much and for that I am eternally grateful.”
~Academy Senior, Student
“Thank you so much for Counseltation; It was a God-send today. I grabbed the Stress & Anxiety video and our afternoon turned into some SEL time. We watched the video, took the assessment, and then recorded our stressors on a piece of paper that we balled up and threw into the outside dumpster. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was able to put this up without prep and I'm seeing smiles on faces that were tear-stained an hour ago.”
~Tiffany Meulemans, Grades 5 - 8 Columbus, Wisconsin Teacher
“Never before have students across the conference had the opportunity to discuss traumas in their life such as, divorce, abuse, bullying, cutting, and suicide attempts. As a Christian counselor, Mindy Salyers not only gives them coping strategies, but hope for their future. “
~Lori Aguilera, Illinois Conference Superintendent of Education
“We thank God and our conference education team for recognizing the enormous need for counseling support for our students, families and staff. Through Mindy Salyers, our students are more able to be mindful, to focus, and to not worry about their home lives like they did before.”
~K-8 Small School Teacher
“Teachers can feel very isolated at times where they care about the deeper concerns that their students are dealing with, but they may not know what to do or how to help. It has been so satisfying and helpful to have Mindy to go to work one-on-one with students. I don't feel alone in dealing with student challenges. She is a layer of support I didn't have before to reach my students in a much more effective way.”
~5-8 Middle School Teacher
“I have been in many schools and have seen that our lack of counseling services has made the teacher’s/administrator’s job that much harder. With Mindy Salyers, we are significantly better able to meet the needs of our students because we have the expertise of a student counselor on hand.”
~9-12 Academy Principal
